Anna is a highly experienced Occupational Therapist with over 10 years of clinical experience, specialising in neurological rehabilitation and traumatic brain injury.
Since qualifying in 2016, Anna has worked extensively across the UK, delivering evidence-based, person-centred care that promotes independence and enhances quality of life. Her practice is grounded in a strong understanding of complex neurological recovery, functional restoration, and long-term rehabilitation planning.
Anna began her academic journey with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Leeds, followed by a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MSc) from Leeds Beckett University. Her background in psychology continues to inform her holistic, neuro-focused approach, particularly when supporting individuals with cognitive, behavioural, and psychosocial challenges following neurological injury.
She has held specialist roles within neurorehabilitation services, supporting individuals with traumatic brain injury, stroke, Parkinson's Disease, and other neurological conditions through complex and often life-changing recovery journeys.
Anna is experienced in comprehensive functional assessment, cognitive rehabilitation, sensorimotor rehabilitation, fatigue management, behavioural strategies, and graded community reintegration. She works collaboratively with clients, families, support coordinators, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver structured, goal-directed therapy that promotes meaningful and sustainable outcomes.
In addition to her neurological expertise, Anna’s broader clinical background includes community mental health (working with both adults and children), aged care, and physical rehabilitation services. She also has experience conducting detailed assessments with recommendations for individuals with complex injuries, further strengthening her analytical and evidence-based approach to rehabilitation planning.
Now based on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Anna continues to advance her specialist neurorehabilitation practice. She is deeply committed to supporting individuals through the complexities of recovery, recognising that neurological rehabilitation requires clinical precision, adaptability, and compassionate intervention.
